Minolta MD Macro Rokkor 50mm f/3.5

I mainly purchased this lens for negative scanning purposes. While it might not seem THAT much slower than my main 50mm, this lens has a traditional macro design, which means focusing closer than infinity is achieved by moving every element further away from the film plane, thus reducing the amount of light reaching the negative... making it slower and slower the closer you focus. Even with these drawbacks, it's an excellent lens, with amazing corner-to-corner sharpness, a very flat field, and next to no perceivable distortion. If you use the included macro ring you can achieve actual 1:1 magnification, thus entering true macro territory, but again, this comes with the drawback of even less light reaching the film. In short, this is not a good all-rounder, but a very capable macro lens none the less.
